We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to McVay Drilling Company.  C.R. McVay and Carmen Stafford founded McVay and Stafford Drilling Company in 1941 with rigs located in Southeastern New Mexico.  Jim McVay, C.R. McVay’s son, bought out Carmen Stafford in 1961 and we became McVay Drilling Company as it is known today.

With our office located in Hobbs, New Mexico, and with our expertise in deep gas, directional, and horizontal drilling, we operate six National Drilling Rigs between 7,000 and 18,500 ft. in Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas.
